Paul Joseph Conkey, age 67, of Logan, Ohio, passed away Wednesday May 31, 2023, at his home in Logan, Ohio, after a fight with cancer.
Joe was born June 29, 1955, in Columbus, Ohio to William B. and Lula Mae Conkey. Joe loved to go fishing, being in the great outdoors, and spending time with his family.
Surviving are his loving wife of 48 years, Linda Conkey; daughter, Tamara Conkey; grandchildren, Philip Conkey, Hannah (Jason) Greer, and Zack Conkey; great-grandchildren, Colt Greer; sisters, Jeanette Ross, Twila (Jack) Morris, and Sharon Dyer; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents; parent-in-laws; children, Justin Dale Conkey, and Philip Jason Conkey; and numorous siblings.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 P.M., Monday June 5, 2023, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Rev. John Williams officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Rockbridge, Ohio.
Calling hours were observed 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. on Monday June 5, 2023.
The family would like to give thanks to all the staff at Ohio Health Hospice. You were all very kind and loving, excluding none; but a special thank you to Joe’s nurse Pam and his home health nurse Janet (of which he loved ;0 ). You guys were just so very loving and kind to Joe and his family and are very much appreciated.
