Penny
L Hickman, 68, of Nelsonville, Ohio passed away March 22, 2018 at
Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, Ohio.
Penny was born July 19, 1949 in Nelsonville, Ohio to John and Carrie
Windle. She attended the First Christian Church of Nelsonville.
Surviving are her daughter, Jamie (Kelby) Conkel of Lancaster; son, Dean
Hickman of Nelsonville; grandchildren, Sam and Maggie Conkel of
Lancaster; brother, John Windle of The Plains; sisters, Gladys Dixon of
Glouster, Barb Berghausen of Cincinnati, and Debbie (Roy) Johnson of
Nelsonville; brothers-in-law, Ray Wright of Nelsonville and Bill Hickman
of Florida; sister-in-law, Julie Pierce of Florida; and many nieces and
nephews.
Penny was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 35 years, Mike
Hickman, who passed away December 28, 2007; brothers, Larry Windle and
twin brother, Mike Windle; sisters, Gay Windle, Kay Windle and Donna
Wright; and brothers-in-law, Rob Pierce, Dave Hickman, and Bill Dixon.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at the
Warren-Brown Funeral Home, Nelsonville, Ohio with Pastor Tony Salvatori
officiating. Burial was in Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville, Ohio.
Calling hours were observed Monday, March 26, 2018 from 4-8 pm at the
funeral home.
