Phyllis Dearing

Phyllis Dearing, age 84, of Nelsonville, Ohio, passed away September 6, 2022, at Embassy of Logan, Logan, Ohio.

Phyllis was born August 15, 1938, to Wayne and Isabell Fierce. Phyllis accomplished a lot in her life. She spent 27 years in Texas as a Private Duty Nurse. She had many friends who loved her, and many doctors that held her in high respect.

Surviving are her four children, Brenda Dearing Swank, Roger (Sherri) Dearing, Krista (Dwight Bozarth) Dearing, and Randy Dearing; two brothers; Ron (Linda) Fierce, and Vern (Marge) Fierce; several grandchildren, including a few she cherished, Melissa Buttrick and her sons Christopher and Caden; great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandsons; and her dear old friend; Terri Davis of Texas.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and Isabel Fierce; six brothers, Gene E. Fierce, Wayne Fierce II, Kenneth Fierce, Daryl Fierce, Robert Fierce, and John Fierce; one sister; Doris Ray Fierce; and dear friend, Maxine Marcon of Texas.

A special thank you to Brenda Rowe who provided Phyllis with a home she loved.

There will be no services at Phyllis’s request and arrangements were by Warren-Brown Funeral Home, Nelsonville, Ohio. Burial will be at Maplewood Cemetery in Glouster, Ohio.
