Rebecca A. Stover, age 74, of Nelsonville, Ohio, passed away September 30, 2022, at The Laurels in Athens, Ohio.
Rebecca was born May 28, 1948, in Athens, Ohio to Russell Adams Sr. and Wilma Rutter Adams. She was an avid reader; loved camping; and loved her grandbabies.
Surviving are her son, David (Maryjo) Allen Jr.; daughter, Angela (Terry) McClain; brother, William Adams; sisters, Carol Fultz, Cindy (Tony) Neel, and Shirley Pillaro; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and stepchildren, Michael (Stephanie) Murphy, Jessica (Dearold Sealey) Murphy, and Jeff Cunningham.
Rebecca was preceded in death by her husband, Clarius “Sonny” Stover, who passed away in 2000; fiancé, Jeff Murphy, who passed away in 2022; parents, Russell & Wilma Adams Sr.; and siblings, Mary Huddy, Russell Adams Jr., and Alana Jean Rowe-McCombs.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 P.M., Thursday October 6, 2022, at the Warren-Brown Funeral Home, Nelsonville, Ohio with Rev. Dr. Randy Hardman officiating. Burial was in Connett Cemetery, Nelsonville, ohio.
Calling hours were observed 4-8 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
