Richard “Dick” Williams, age 85, of New Lexington, Ohio, formerly of Logan, passed away March 3, 2024, at Genesis Rehabilitation Center, New Lexington, Ohio.
Dick was born May 13, 1938, in Union Furnace, Ohio to Floyd Joseph Williams and Ruby Leasure Williams. He graduated from Carbon Hill High School; formerly a truck driver; and for many years did upholstery work and operated the Decorator House on E. Front St. in Logan.
Surviving is a son, Lloyd Williams of Logan; daughters, Candy (Edwin) Edgar of Logan, Sandy (Dennis) Inboden of Logan, and Margie (Roger) Harlan of New Straitsville; 6 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Dick was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Lillian Williams; granddaughter, Clarissa Nixon; brothers, Robert, Carl, and Floyd Williams; and sister, Virginia Rollins.
Funeral services were held at 1 P.M., Friday March 8, 2024, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Rev. Dr. Randy Hardman officiating. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery, Rockbridge, Ohio.
Calling hours were observed 11 am – 1 pm Friday at the funeral home.
