Robert Eugene Ackers, age 84, of Rockbridge, Ohio, passed away June 28, 2023, at his home in Rockbridge, Ohio.
Robert was born November 18, 1938, in Lancaster, Ohio to Myron and Mary Ackers. Robert loved to go fishing and hunting.
Surviving are his children, Robert Ackers and Wendy (Duane) Johnson; grandson, Jacob Ackers; brothers, Ron Ackers and Gary Ackers; sisters, Helen “Ackers”, Carolyn “Ackers”, and Donna Ackers; and close friends, Pat Rumor, Gary Work, and Jeff.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Myron and Mary Ackers.
Veteran services were held at 4:00 P.M., Saturday July 15, 2023, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio.
