Robert Hardman

Robert W. Hardman, 57, of Logan, Ohio died October 25, 1982, at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Dayton, Ohio, after an extended illness.

Born in Columbus, Ohio, he was the son of the late William and Maude Oldaker Hardman. He was a retired self-employed barber. His business was located under Leon’s in Logan. He was a WW II Navy Veteran, where he saw action in the Pacific Theater. He was a member of the Union Furnace United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Irene Hardman; four sons, Steven Hardman of Logan, Fred Hardman Tenn., Rev. Randy Hardman of Haydenville, and Matthew Hardman of Logan; six grandchildren; brother, Wilbur Hardman of Waverly; three sisters, Vada Ray, Ethel Craven, and Freda Kozicki.

Services will be Friday at 1 PM at Union Furnace United Methodist Church with Revs. Tim Lehman and Randy Hardman officiating. Burial will be in the New Plymouth Cemetery, where Graveside services will be conducted by the Combined Military Group in Logan.

Friends may call at Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home in Logan today from 7 to 9 PM, and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM, and 1 hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.
