Roberta Lillian Morgan passed into eternal rest peacefully on Friday December 27, 2024, at Mount Carmel East Hospital. Roberta is preceded in death by her husband, Dorsey “Gene” Morgan, her parents Herman and Pearl Leonard, sister Jeannette (Evans “Sandy”) Hand, and brothers George (Barbara) Leonard and Richard (Amanda) Leonard.

Roberta was born on November 18, 1939, in Logan, Ohio to Herman and Pearl Leonard. She married Gene, her high school sweetheart, on November 6, 1961and they were blessed with their two sons, Marcus (Beth) and Jeffrey (Terri Shriner). Roberta was a beloved grandmother of four and a loving great-grandmother of nine.

Roberta’s Christian faith inspired her to serve her neighbor and be a friend to all. As a teacher in Logan for over thirty years, Roberta touched the lives of many in our community. After retirement, she enjoyed volunteering at the Welcome Center and was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She was a talented painter, avid reader, and family historian.

A memorial service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Logan, Ohio on Friday January 3, 2025, at 11:00am, with visitation for family and friends beginning at 10:00am.
