Roger D. Lytle

Roger D. Lytle, age 73, of Logan, Ohio, passed away March 21, 2023, at Ohio State University-East, Columbus, Ohio.

Roger was born February 14, 1950, in Logan, Ohio to Paul E. and Louella F. Lytle. He was a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran; a member of Vol. Fire Department, Moose, American Legion, and AmVets; and worked at Savings Rental and Marty Wrecker Service. He enjoyed horse riding, motorcycles, and demo derbies; and was a great storyteller and jokester.

Surviving are his wife of 32 years, Deborah Lytle; Son, Keith (Tee) Lytle; stepdaughter, Daphne (Geoff) Zag-Fuchs; grandchildren, Shena (Joe) Zimmerman, Shadow Lytle, and A.J. Zag-Fuchs; great-grandson, Carter Potts; sister-In-Law, Pauline Lytle; aunts; and special nieces and nephews.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Robert “Bob” Lytle; and granddaughter, Sierra Lytle.

Military services, with the Hocking County Honor Guard, were held at 8:00 P.M., Friday, March 24, 2023, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio.

Calling hours were observed 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Friday, March 24, 2023.
