Roger Vermillion, age 45, of Nelsonville, Ohio, passed away March 26, 2022, at his residence.
Roger was born December 9, 1976, in Logan, Ohio. He was a graduate of Nelsonville-York High School and Tri-County Vocational School; a member of the Ward Township VFD; and was a self-employed carpenter.
Surviving are his wife, Jennifer Vermillion; their fur-babies; sister, Elizabeth (P. J.) Sherritt; sisters-in-law, Christina (Kevin) Hall, Teresa (Jeff) Fisher, Kathleen (Curtis) Carey, and Jackie (Jason) Lawson; niece, Alyssa; nephew, Bryce; many aunts, uncles and cousins; many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; and many nieces and nephews.
Roger was preceded in death by his mother, Cheryl Vermillion; grandparents, Ronald and Donna Bateman; great-grandparents, John and Violet Williams; uncle, John Bateman; and many fur-babies.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Minister Heath Smathers officiating. Burial was in Dawley-Downhour Cemetery, Nelsonville, Ohio.
Calling hours were observed from 6 to 8 P.M. on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at the funeral home.
