Ronald L. Walker, age 82, of Logan, Ohio, passed away October 14, 2020 at The Pickering House, Lancaster, Ohio.
Ronald was born November 22, 1937 in Rockbridge, Ohio to Virgil Floyd and Blanche H. Kraft Walker.
Surviving are his son Kim (Bridget) Walker; daughter Tricia (David) Wells; grandchildren, Stacey (Craig) Boals, Kyle Walker, Megan (R.J.) Enderle, Alaina (Jessie Conley) Kuhn, Lindsey, Makenzie and Avery Wells; great-grandchildren, Delaney & Karlee “Boo” Boals, Adalynn & Camden Enderle, and Brynlee Jean Conley; and sister Sue Hockman.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents; parents-in-law, William & Mary Freeman; his wife Shirley Jean “Nanny” Walker, who passed away June 28, 2020; son Keith Douglas Walker, who passed in September 12, 2017; and siblings, Walter Franklin Walker, Delmar Eugene Walker, Vannetta Marie, Dorothy Eileen, Helen Irene, Betty Juanita, Lelah Jeannetta, and Esther Jeannine.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, October 20, 2020, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Rev. Thomas Gates II officiating. Burial was in Fairview Memorial Gardens, Rockbridge, Ohio.
Calling hours were observed Monday, October 19, 2020, from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. and Tuesday, October 20, 2020, from 12:00 Noon to the time of service at the funeral home.
