Roy Allen Callahan, age 58, of McConnellsville, Ohio, passed away February 9, 2022, at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, Ohio.
Roy was born July 1, 1963, in West Virginia to Charles Callahan and Betty Johnson Callahan. He loved fishing and basketball; and loved the Raiders, Braves, and Lakers.
Surviving are his lovey, Teresa Mayhugh; 6 kids and step-kids, Brandi (Simon Rutter) Lowers of Nelsonville, Jessica (Charles) Major of Zanesville, Zachary Callahan of McConnellsville, Brian (Mindy) Russell of Stockport, Tosha Hill of Belpre and Don Hill; 14 grandkids; 6 great-grandkids; brother, Arthur Callahan; sisters, Mildred Roberts and Betty Callahan; and lots of nieces and nephews.
Roy was preceded in death by his parents and 6 siblings.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at the Brown Funeral Home, Murray City, Ohio with Steve Looker officiating. Burial was in Mountville Cemetery, Glouster, Ohio.
Calling hours were observed 11 am – 1 pm, Tuesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
