Ruth Blackford, age 58, of Logan, Ohio, passed away July 5, 2022, at Embassy of Logan, Logan, Ohio.
Ruth was born August 31, 1963, in Columbus, Ohio to Paul David McCombs I and Linda Mae Miller. She loved her children and grandchildren; and enjoyed her many cats. Her favorite past time was watching cartoons, Mash, Star Track, Gun Smoke, and wresting; and listening to music.
Surviving are her children, Eric (Shyanna) Blackford, Joshua Blackford, Michael (Heather) Yoke, and Lindsay Blackford; grandchildren, Adalynn, Brantley, Mazikeen, Scarlett, and Michael Jr.; siblings, Paul (Jay) McCombs II and Mindy (T. J.) O’Brien; father-in-law, Jim Blackford; and several nieces and nephews.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Paul David McCombs I and Linda Mae Tolliver; mother-in law, Carolyn Blackford; and sisters, Becky Tremper and Tina Postelwait.
Calling hours were observed 11 A.M. – 1 P.M. on Friday, July 8, 2022, at Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 P.M., Friday, July 8, 2022, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Jim Blackford officiating. Burial was in St. John Lutheran Cemetery, Logan, Ohio.
