Sandra Kay Callahan, age 64, of Lancaster, Ohio, passed away June 18, 2023, at Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster, Ohio.
Sandy was born February 1, 1959, in Lancaster, Ohio to Merle E. and Mary L. Delong. Sandy enjoyed crocheting, baking, Hallmark movies, and swinging on the front porch.
Surviving are her daughter, Amber (Randy) Downs; grandchildren, Faith (Carsen) Bell and Blake (Renasha) Downs; great-grandchildren, Layne Bell and Khloe Downs; two sisters, Cathy (Dave) May and Diane Driver; bonus daughter, Alex Jones (and Family); the families of Downs, Turban, and Tisdale; great friend, Leann Lip (and Family), long time neighbor and friend, Susan Gurile (and Family); dogs, Hank (loving barker) and Mater (snot blower); and grand dogs, Blu and Colt.
Sandy was preceded in death by parents; grandparents; and several aunts and uncles.
There was a private family viewing held for Sandy with cremation following.
In leu of flowers, the family asks that donations can be made to the funeral home to help with the sudden expenses occurred.
