Sarah J. Kibble, age 82, of Rockbridge, Ohio, passed away July 14, 2021 at her residence.
Sarah was born August 30, 1938 in Lancaster, Ohio to Arba Lorn Shahan and Margaret Jane Dodson Shahan . She graduated From Rockbridge High School; lifetime member of the Shepherd of the Hills Church; sang on The Praise Team; loved The Gaithers, Westerns and game shows; was a fan of Marty Stuart. She was an amazing mother and will be greatly missed.
Surviving are her children Stephanie (Jeff) Casner of Mesa, Arizona, Sophia (Ron) Ammon of Lancaster, Stephen (Jane) Kibble of Rockbridge, Sande (Rene) Kibble of Heath, Salecia Kibbey of Rockbridge; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren.
Sarah was preceded in death by her parents; husband Stanley Kibble; siblings Johnny Shahan, Raymond Shahan, Arba Lorn Shahan, Mary Alice Colebank. Lawrence “Quay” Shahan; son-in-law Joe Kibbey.
Funeral services were held at 2P.M., Sunday July 18, 2021 at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Pastor Diora Edgell officiating. Burial was in Knollwood Cemetery in Logan, Ohio at a later date.
Calling hours were observed 6-8 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
