Sharon M. Hamilton, age 72, of Mt Perry, Ohio, passed away March 4, 2023, at Genesis Hospital, Zanesville, Ohio.
Sharon was born March 3, 195, in Rockbridge to Dwight Stump and Esther Stump. She was a School Bus Driver for Maysville Public Schools and a member of the Ebenezer Baptist Church near Maxville.
Surviving are her husband, of almost 50 years, Larry Hamilton; mother, Esther Stump of Lancaster; sons, Danny (Tina) Cornwell of Mt. Perry, and Chad Hamilton of Mt. Perry; grandchildren, Sarah (Trevor) Bole of Malta, Wesley Cline of Mt Perry, Tyler Hamilton of Zanesville, Jenny of Lancaster, Tiffany Johnson of Lancaster, Riley Snoke of Oakland, Ohio, Jessica Cornwell of Peoria, IL, and Morgan Cornwell of Mt Perry; several great-grandchildren; brothers, David Stump of Lancaster, Steve Stump of Thurston, Donald Holland of Lancaster, and Brian Holland of Lancaster; sisters, Dora Emert of Columbus, and Sandy Holland of Somerset; and several nieces and nephews.
Sharon was preceded in death by her father and brother Joseph Holland.
Funeral services were held at 11 am Friday, March 10, 2023, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Pastor Steve Hubbard officiating. Burial was in Ebenezer Baptist Cemetery, Maxville, Ohio.
Calling hours were observed 2-4 & 6-8 pm Thursday and 10-11 am Friday at the funeral home.
