Heath – Shirley L. Cozad, age 71, of Heath, Ohio, passed away October 10, 2022, at Grant Medical Center, surrounded by family.
Shirley was born July 9th, 1951, in Lancaster, Ohio. She was retired from Nationwide Insurance with 30 years of service and was currently working as an STNA in Licking County. She was a graduate of Sheridan High School, where she graduated with Honors and participated in choir and show choir. She met her lifelong sweetheart at Apostolic Bible Institute. Shirley and David were married for 48 amazing years.
Surviving are her son, Jonathan (Danielle) Cozad of Heath; daughter, Rachel Price of Heath; grandchildren, J. D. Cozad, Benjamin Hall, Zachary (Courtney) Cozad, Kaitlin Cozad, William Nutter, Austin Cozad, and Addilyn Cozad; great-grandchildren, Roseabella Hall, Alexander Hall, Everly Cozad; sister, Sharon (Tom) Wolford; brother, David (Debbie) Wallace; and several nieces and nephews.
Shirley was preceded in death by her father, James “Jimmy” Wallace; mother, Constance “Connie” Wallace; and loving husband, Rev. David W. Cozad.
Viewing hours were held from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Saturday October 15, 2022, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio.
