Steven Andrew Lutz, age 38, of Ashville, Ohio, passed away January 22, 2019 at Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster, Ohio. Steven was born April 25, 1980 in Lancaster, Ohio to Robert Eugene Lutz Sr. and Lois Jean (Staley). He fought a courageous battle for 18 years against kidney disease. He was a graduate of Teays Valley High School and a long time diesel mechanic, who had a passion for cars. Steven was a loving father to his daughters. Surviving are his children, Courtney, Ashley, and Jaidee Lutz; his mother Lois (Terry Pierson) Lutz; siblings, Carolyn (Phillip) Merrick of Logan and Robert (Michelle Hall) Lutz Jr. of Rockbridge; ex-wife and mother of his children, Michelle Cain; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ed and Helen Harper; several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles; and closest friend, Adam Webb. Steven was preceded in death by his father, Robert Lutz Sr.; step-father Lloyd Welch; grandparents, Elsie & Elmer Staley and Hazel Lutz & James Reliford; brother Justin Lutz; and nephew George Seifert.
