Susan Jane Johnson, 85, of Nelsonville, Ohio passed away March 24, 2017 at her residence. Susan was born May 28, 1931 in Whitesville, West Virginia to Ira and Mary Evelyn Simms. Surviving are daughters Sue Cassels of Nelsonville, Evelyn Turley of Florida, Janet Arbogast of Belpre, Janice Woody of Blue Rock; 15 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren. Susan was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Johnson; and son, Robert Johnson. Funeral services were held 5:00 pm Sunday March 26, 2017 at the Warren-Brown Funeral Home Nelsonville, Ohio with Rev. Dr. Randy Hardman officiating. Calling hours were observed from 3 to 5 pm at the funeral home. The family would like to give a special thanks to Christy and Summer, for their assistance during our difficult time, they were wonderful.
