Tamara Williams Whitney, age 61, of Nelsonville, Ohio, passed away February 2, 2022, at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, Ohio.
Tamara was born July 18, 1960, in Athens, Ohio.
Surviving are her children, Joni (James) Adkins of Nelsonville, Jonathan (Jennifer) Smathers of Glouster, and David Collins of Burgin, KY; grandchildren, Damien (Caitlin) Young, Donita (David) Pinkerton, Toni (Ryan) Cooper, Kaitlyn Adkins, Kaylie (James) Ward, Katelynn Collins, Abigail Smathers, Isaac Cook, Joshua Morrison, Daniel Preast. Kenon Jones, and Brooklyn Robson; great-grandchildren, Justice, Ryder, Elly, Max, Mackinley, and Graylynn; brothers, David Williams of Jackson, Greg Williams of Nelsonville, and Roger Williams of Nelsonville; sisters, Vicky Poulin of Holly Hills, FL, and Angie (Tim) Blake of Logan; her dog Bear Bear; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Tamara was preceded in death by her father, Robert L. Williams Sr.; mother, Martha L Marks; infant son, John Lawson Smathers Jr.; brother, Robert L. Williams Jr; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Calling hours were observed 6-8 pm Wednesday February 9, 2022, at the Warren-Brown Funeral Home in Nelsonville, Ohio.
