Teresa J. Sowards, age 63, of Pleasantville, Ohio, passed away February 1, 2025, at Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster, Ohio.

Teresa was born October 3, 1961, in Olympic, Washington to Richard O. and Valda J. Perry. She was devoted to her family; a very strong person with the biggest heart; and always was ready to help anyone who needed.             

Surviving are her daughter, Christina Perry of Pleasantville; granddaughters, Ashley Nelson, Winter Scott, and Zalena Lewis; brother, Kevin Perry of Villarica, GA; and aunt, Scarlett Cline of Carroll.

Teresa was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Valerie Lewis; and brother, Richard Perry, Jr.

There will be a memorial service for her with in next couple of weeks. It will be held at ChristWay Church in Pleasantville, Ohio. I will announce the day and time as soon as I know. 

Her arrangements are by the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio.
