Thomas Delbert Duffy Jr., age 67, of New Lexington, Ohio, passed away August 10, 2023, at New Lexington Care and Rehabilitation Center, New Lexington, Ohio.
Thomas was born December 30, 1955, in Parkersburg, West Virginia to Thomas Delbert Duffy Sr. and Margaret Ellen Nesselrood-Duffy. He attended Point Pleasant Training School; graduated from God’s Bible School & College in Cincinnati; earned an accounting degree; managed Dollar General and Dollar Tree Stores; was an ordained minister and member of the Early Methodist Church; was treasurer and secretary of Southeastern Ohio Regional Youth Camp; and a member of the Civil Air Patrol.
Surviving are his wife, Brenda Sue Cundiff-Duffy; children, Thomas Delbert Duffy III, Christopher Todd Duffy (Diane Fenner), Amy Michelle Duffy, Samuel Duffy (Emily Fochs), and Eric Russell Duffy (Ali Campbell); several grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and sister, Laura Ellen (William) Anderson.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents; infant brother, Brian James Duffy; and son, Andrew Michael Duffy.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 am Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Steve Heskett Jr. officiating. Burial was in Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville, Ohio.
