Thomas Ray Evans, age 85, of Logan, Ohio, passed away April 1, 2021 at his residence.
Thomas was born June 1, 1935 in Nellis, WV. to Allie Utter Evans and Margie Lee Curry-Hill Evans.
Surviving are the love of his life, Joann Krietz, who showed him unconditional love for 22 years; daughter Melissa Evans Redden and granddaughters, Marissa Redden DiCapua, and Mariah Redden; daughter Christina Evans Cliche’ and son-in-law Robert D. Cliche’ Jr and grandson Nicholas Cliche’ and great-granddaughter Joey Cliche’, and granddaughter Angelina Cliche’; son Jon Clark and daughter-in-law Nicole Clark and grandchildren, Julianna Clark and Evan Clark; step-daughter Romona Clark Gorwitz and grandchildren, James Gorwitz, and Christie Gorwitz Lopez; step-daughter Cheryl Clark and grandchild Ryan Clark; and nieces, Angela Evans Parker and Diana Evans Windor. He was like a father and grandfather to Joann’s children and grandchildren.
He was the patriarch of our family. He will be irreplaceable and loved forever. We are a family of faith. We believe that Daddy is safe with God, and that he is joined by family members that have gone on before him. They are welcoming him with joy and love.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother Allie Lee Evans.
Calling hours were observed 1:30-5 pm on Wednesday April 7, 2021 at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio.
