Wanda Lou Carpenter, 72, of Logan, Ohio passed away July 10, 2018 at her daughter’s residence in Lithopolis, Ohio. Wanda was born January 30, 1946 in Logan, Ohio and was raised by Maggie Woltz. She formerly worked at Smead Manufacturing Company in Logan. Surviving are her children, Betty L. (Terry “Tee”) Unger of Laurelville, Judy A. Patton of Logan, Ricky E. (Melissa) Carpenter of Logan, and Tara D. (Gary) Hughes of Lithopolis; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Jim Woltz and Jennette Ledford. Wanda was preceded in death by her mother Maggie Woltz; husband Richard Carpenter; granddaughter Betty Jo Linscott; and sister Jennette Ledford. Funeral services were held at 11:00 am, Friday, July 13, 2018 at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Rev. Bruce Livingstone officiating. Burial was in New Fairview Cemetery, Logan, Ohio. Calling hours were observed Thursday, July 12, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
