Waveline “Kay” Roop, age 81, of Logan, Ohio, passed away June 27, 2024, at The Pickering House, Lancaster, Ohio.
Kay was born July 31, 1942, in Rockbridge, Ohio to Oliver and Maybelle Roop. Kay loved going to Faith Freewill Baptist church, traveling, and going on walks. She had a sweet soul that will be dearly missed by her family and community.
Surviving are her 4 siblings, Garry (Marlene) Roop, Evelyn Turley, Jean Martin, and Shirley Henerly; and many nieces, nephews, and church friends.
Kay was preceded in death by her parents, Oliver and Maybelle Roop; brother, Chuck Roop; brothers-in-laws, Danny Turley, Carl Martin, and Junior Henderly; and sister-in-law, Betty Roop.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00P.M., Wednesday July 3, 2024, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Rockbridge, Ohio.
Calling hours will be observed 11:00-1:00P.M. on Wednesday July 3, 2024, at the funeral home.
