William Edward “Bill” McCombs, 54, of Athens, Ohio passed away December 2, 2015 at O’Bleness Hospital, Athens, Ohio. William was born October 7, 1961 in Nelsonville, Ohio to John William and Judith McCombs. He was a graduate of Nelsonville High School. Surviving are his son, Zachary W. (Sasha) McCombs of Athens; daughter, Heather (Nathan) Highland of Nelsonville; and grandchildren, Logan Caleb McCombs of Athens, and Brock Highland of Nelsonville. William was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Warren-Brown Funeral Home, 80 E. Washington St. Nelsonville, Ohio 45764 to help with funeral expenses.
