William “Bill” Travis Sr., age 64, of Nelsonville, Ohio, passed away suddenly August 17, 2024, at his home.
Bill was born September 19, 1959, in Logan, Ohio to Raymond S. Travis Sr. and Mary Lou Travis. Bill worked as a Surgical Tech for 48 years at Hocking Valley Community Hospital.
Surviving are his mother, Mary Lou Travis; son, William “Billy” B. Travis Jr.; siblings, Stan (Sherry) Travis, Philip (Jason) Travis, and Tina (Gary) Bowlby.
Bill was preceded in death by father, Raymond S. Travis Sr.; daughter, Heather Dawn Travis; son, Mikey Miller; sister, Rita Ann Travis; paternal grandparents, Arthur and Thelma Travis; maternal grandparents, William and Dorothy Beavers; nephew, Eric Travis; and great-nephew, Brandon Travis.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 PM, Friday, August 23, 2024, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio. Burial was in Shaw Cemetery, Logan, Ohio.
Calling hours were observed from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on August 23, 2024, at the funeral home prior to the service.
