William Palonis, age 79, of Canal Winchester, Ohio, passed away September 7, 2023, at his residence.
William was born August 10, 1944, in New York, New York to John Joseph Palonis and Marilyn Palonis. He was a US Navy Vietnam Veteran and retired from the Teamsters after 38 years of truck driving.
Surviving are Children, Ed (Carissa) Vanover, Michelle (Chris) Oursler, and Bill Palonis; 9 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandson.
William was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Karen Palonis.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 P.M., Thursday, September 14, 2023, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Rev. Dr. Randy Hardman officiating. Burial was in Fairview Memorial Gardens, Rockbridge, Ohio, where Military Graveside services were conducted by the Hocking County Honor Guard.
Calling hours were observed on Thursday from 11 A.M. till the time of the funeral service.
