Robert “Bobby” Perry, 50, of Nelsonville, Ohio passed away on September 19, 2018.
Born August 28, 1968 in Athens, Ohio, Bobby was the son of Jeannie Pidcock Perry and the late Billy Perry. Bobby graduated from Nelsonville-York High School in 1986 and later graduated from Hocking College in Environmental Restoration. He was employed at Pidcock Glass for the past 22 years, where he will be sorely missed.
Bobby was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Nelsonville, and a lifetime member of the Nelsonville VFW Post 3467 Auxiliary.
He is survived by his loving mother, Jeannie Pidcock Perry; brothers, Steven (Tricia) and James (Christina) of Nelsonville; niece, Mackenzie Perry; many special aunts, uncles and cousins; and a very special cousin, Dee Dee Pidcock Loge.
Bobby was preceded in death by his father, Billy Perry; maternal grandparents, James Leonard and Ada Neal Pidcock; and paternal grandparents, Harold and Ruth Knowlton Perry.
Bobby was a caring, kind, fun, hardworking, “heart of gold” son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. He loved his dog Sampson, the Dallas Cowboys, canoeing, and his family and friends.
A Celebration of Life ceremony was held at a later date.
Arrangements were by the Warren-Brown Funeral Home.
