Nancy L. Walker 76, of New Straitsville, Ohio passed away January 22, 2015 at Fairfield Medical Center Lancaster, Ohio. Nancy was born May 7, 1938 in Morgan County, Ohio to Sylvester and Margaret Ann Doughty. Surviving are her son, David L. (Dorinda) West of Corning; daughter, Theresa Lewis of Nelsonville; step-son, Mitch Walker of New Straitsville; grandchildren, Matt, Saressa, Sarah, Sonya, Tonya, Lane, Roshelle, David, Ronnie, Rolly, Albert, Bear, Eric, and Sydney; 20 great-grandchildren; brother, Paul (Paulda) Doughty of Glouster; sisters, Joan (Frank) Fakinos of Palm Springs, CA, Edith (Virgil) Love of Columbus, and Katie (Ernie) Hayes of Enid, Oklahoma; special friend, Charlie Hanson of New Straitsville. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Norman Walker; brothers, Charles, Deloss and Lester; and sisters, Gertrude, Sylvia, Pearl, Clara, and Mary Lee. Funeral services were held at 11:00 am Tuesday January 27, 2015 at the Warren-Brown Funeral Home Nelsonville, Ohio with Rev. Matt Thomas officiating. Burial was in Asbury Cemetery, Nelsonville, Ohio. Calling hours were observed Monday 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
