Beverly J. Black, age 67, of Stewart, Ohio, passed away September 6, 2023, at home, Stewart, Ohio.
Bev was born October 14, 1955, in Gallipolis, Ohio to Samuel Waugh Sr. and Donna Donaldson. She enjoyed watching the kids and family grow up. She also loved her pictures, flowers, and pets.
Surviving are children, Frank (Kristin Ardner) Taylor, Donna (Jerry) Keller, Virginia (Billy) Moore, and Roger Moore; grandchildren, Kyla, Frankie, Jacob, Steven, Gage, Shayla, Izzy, Bobby, Peanut, Jerilynn, Madilynn, Tyler, Roger, and Misty; great-grandchildren, Ian, Addy, Ryan, Jace, Maclin, Renex, Weston, River, Denver, and August; many friends; quasi-children; and pets, Baby, Buddy, and Abby.
Bev was preceded in death by parents, Samuel Waugh Sr. and Donna Donaldson; son, William Waugh; brother, Samuel Waugh Jr.
Funeral services were held at 3:00 P.M., Sunday September 10, 2023, at the Warren-Brown Funeral Home, Nelsonville, Ohio with Pastor Randolph Hall officiating. Cremation occurred after her funeral services.
Calling hours were Sunday, September 10, 2023, observed from 12:00 – 3:00 P.M. prior to the services at the funeral home.
There will be a benefit held at 8:00 PM on September 30, 2023, at Uncle Buck’s Riding Stables and Dance Barn with Jay Snyder as the headliner, and October 14, 2023, Mel’s Roadhouse with Daniel Perry and the PBR band will be performing. Both venues have a $10 entry fee as a 50/50 split to pay for the funeral services with all extra proceeds going to The Pentecostal Holiness House of Prayer of Wellston, Ohio.
