Barbara L. Kornmiller, age 88, of Logan, Ohio, passed away peacefully on October 9, 2023, at her residence, Logan, Ohio.
Barbara was born August 1, 1935, in Rockbridge, Ohio to Herbert and Beatrice Sheline. Barbara was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church of Logan. She loved reading, especially the Bible, going out to eat, shopping, her cats, and spending time with her family.
Surviving are her daughter, Kathleen (Lanny E.) S, North; son, Jeffrey (Shani) Kornmiller; grandchildren, Michelle (Ken) Smith, Jami Shufeldt, Krystal K. (Brian) McCartney, Lena (Autumn) Barnette, Benjamin T. Kornmiller, and Eli C. Kornmiller; great grandchildren, Shylah Smith, Maddison L. Parker, Logan Parker, Saphira Shufeldt, and Jesse Kornmiller; brother, Tim (Della Sue) Sheline; several nieces and nephews; many special friends; and cat, Kitty Kat.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 64 years, Clarence Kornmiller, who passed away on November 1, 2017; and son Michael Allen Kornmiller.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 P.M., Thursday, October 12, 2023, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Pastor Gabrielle Hudecek officiating. The burial was in Knollwood Cemetery, Logan, Ohio.
Calling hours were observed from 11:00 – 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 12, 2023, prior to the service.
