Delsie M. Callahan, age 56, of McConnellsville, Ohio, passed away August 12, 2021 at The Morrison House, Zanesville, Ohio.
Delsie was born September 19, 1964 in Boone County, West Virginia to Charlie and Betty Callahan. She loved gambling, yard sales, and fishing. Delsie lived for her children and her grandkids.
Surviving are her children, Amanda Callahan (Mike Donnally) of Pennsville, Dustin (Britteny) Burgette of McConnellsville, and Kayla Roush of Alpena, Michigan; grandchildren, Daisy Donnally, Lillian Donnally, Holly Donnally, Ashton Donnally, Shantle Walker, Dustin William Lee Burgette, Gabriella Burgette, Abagail Cumberledge, Wyatte Roush, Chloe Roush, Abbigail Quinn, and Shylin Major; her life partner, Charles Burgette; a niece that was more like a daughter, Jessica (Charles) Major; and siblings, Mildred Roberts, Arthur Callahan, Roy Callahan, and Betty Heckathorne.
Delsie was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Elbert, Pete, David, and Cheyenne Callahan; and sister Donna Carsey.
Funeral services were held at 11.00 A.M. on Monday, August 16, 2021 at the Brown Funeral Home, Murray City, Ohio. Burial was in Mountville Cemetery, Morgan County, Ohio.
Calling hours were observed from 12:00 Noon to 4:00 pm Sunday, August 15, 2021 at the funeral home.
