Donna P. Lehman

Donna P. Lehman, 88, of Logan, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on January 11, 2023, at the Hocking Valley Community Hospital, Logan, Ohio.

Born July 8, 1934, to Donald R. Devol and Ella D. Devol. She was married for 63 years to Darl W. Lehman.

Donna graduated from Carbon Hill High School in 1953. She was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend; and a life-long member of Chapter 76 Order of the Eastern Star. She attended Smith Chapel United Methodist Church in Logan, Ohio.

She is survived by a son Darl (Judy) Lehman of Malvern, AR; daughters, Brenda (William) Wolfe and Pam (Al) Bookman of Logan; grandchildren, Faith, Dustin, Brianna, Joshua, Sarah, Amber, Ashley, and Amanda; great-grandchildren, Bella, Hannah, Haddan, Kaiden, K’lynn, Luca, Cole, Daylen, Codie, Kaiden, Hunter, Hayden, Austin, Brayden, Hannah, Ellie, Natalie, and Briggs; great-great-granddaughters Stella, Ni-Aria, and Hazel Grace; and sister-in-law, Marjorie “Sis” Lama; and loving dog Dixie.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Darl; granddaughter, Rebecca Bookman; sister and brother-in-law, Judy & Jim Amnah; brothers-in-law, Clarence, Darrel, Jerry and Richard “Brother” Lehman; and nephew, Shawn Williams.

A Celebration of Life service was held on Monday, January 16, 2023, at 11:00 am at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home Logan, Ohio with Pastor Dave Sherman officiating. Burial followed at Carbon Hill Cemetery.

Calling hours were held on Sunday, January 15, 2023, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the funeral home. An Eastern Star Service was held at 7:45 pm on Sunday, January 15, 2023, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Donna’s honor to Smith Chapel Food and Clothing Mission 1333 E. Front St. Logan, Ohio, or FairHoPe Hospice 282 Sells Rd. Lancaster, Ohio 43130, or Hocking Valley Community Hospital 601 S R 664 N, Logan, Ohio.

The family would like to thank the employees of Hocking Valley Community Hospital, and FairHoPe Hospice for the loving care she received during her time of need.
