Elizabeth Ann Bishop, age 83, of Nelsonville, Ohio, passed away peacefully Sunday September 3, 2023, at her home in Nelsonville, Ohio with her son Jim Mike by her side.
Ann was born May 9, 1940, in Nelsonville, Ohio to Oliver Bishop and Pearl Bishop. She was a graduate of Nelsonville High School and a “PhD of Schools of Hard Knox.” She was also a lifetime member of the VFW Auxilery Post 3467. Ann enjoyed spending her time sewing and hanging out with her friends.
Surviving are children, James Michael Bullock and Jason Allen Bullock; grandson, Patrick Bullock; several great-grandchildren; sister, Anita McDonald; and many nieces and nephews.
Ann was preceded in death by parents, Oliver and Pearl Bishop; son, Johnny Bullock; grandson, Nicholas Bullock; siblings, Wilma Hughs, Bill Bishop, Junior Bishop, and Loretta Brown; brothers-in-law, Lee Hughs, Bill McDonald, and Berry Brown; sisters-in-law, Natalie Bishop, Maggie Bishop, and Betty Bishop; and nephew, Audie (Rick) McDonald.
Celebration of life services will be held at 5:00 PM on Saturday October 28, 2023, at 162 Farrow Ave., Nelsonville, Ohio with burial to follow at Greenlawn Cemetery for immediate friends and family.
Arrangements are by the Warren-Brown Funeral Home, Nelsonville, Ohio.
