Jim is survived by his children, Debra (Matthew) Allbery Gildea of Asheville, NC, James (Melanie) Allbery, Jr. of Farmington Hills, MI, and Lori (Aaron) Pruitt of Big Rapids, MI; grandchildren, Robert Grayson, Alex Grayson, James Allbery III, Hannah Allbery, Michael Wyatt Gildea, and Briggs Pruitt; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at 11:30 am on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home of Logan, Ohio with Rev. Dr. Randy Hardman officiating. Burial followed at Fairview Cemetery, Rockbridge, Ohio. The family welcomed all who attended.
