Janice E. Taulbee, age 73, of Logan, Ohio, passed away March 8, 2021 at Pickering House, Lancaster, Ohio.
Janice was born March 30, 1947 in Logan, Ohio to James L. Taulbee Sr. and Mae E. Taulbee. Janice retired after 30 years at Nationwide Insurance Company in Columbus, then returned to Hocking County and the farm that she loved. She was an active member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, member of Hocking Grange, and a voracious reader. Her feisty personality and fierce loyalty to family and friends will be greatly missed.
Janice was a most loving daughter who cared for her parents, and sister to four younger brothers, Jim, Bob, Mark, and Sam. She was aunt to nieces, Gretchen, Emily, Hannah, and Jamie; nephews, Garth, Ben, Matt, Tim, Tyler, Adam and Josh; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. She also leaves behind a longtime boyfriend, Garry Spencer and many close cousins.
Janice was preceded in death by her parents and an infant sister, Paula Taulbee.
Funeral services were held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, March 13, 2021 at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Jim Kalklosch officiating. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery, Rockbridge, Ohio.
Calling hours were observed on Friday, March 12, 2021 from 4 to 7 pm at the funeral home.
