Jerry Lee Fierce, age 53, of Athens, Ohio, passed away August 1, 2021, at Fairfield Medical Center.
Jerry was born August 15, 1967, in Nelsonville, Ohio to Wayne E. Fierce Jr. and Mary Lou Fierce. He loved to be out in the woods exploring all that nature had to offer. He spent a lot of his free time hunting, camping, and fishing. He also loved to play video games, and watch his favorite team, the Steelers.
Surviving are his significant other, Renee Blakley; adoptive children, Britney (TJ) Harshman, Brandon Biller, and Keri (Dan) Blakley; adoptive grandson, Kayden Blakley; brothers, John (Christy) Fierce and Wayne (Tracy) Fierce; sisters, Tammie Fierce and Mary (Rodger) Haney; many nieces and nephews; significant other’s mother, Nancy Riffle; and fur baby, Brutus.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; baby brother, Terry Lee Fierce; sister Tonya Bullock-Fierce; and significant other’s father, Edward Riffle Jr.
Funeral services were held at 11 A.M., Thursday August 5, 2021, at Brown Funeral Home, Murray City, Ohio. Burial was in Hill Top Cemetery, Millfield, Ohio.
Calling hours will be observed 5-8 pm Wednesday August 4, 2021, and 10-11am Thursday August 5, 2021.
