John Michael McGomery, age 68, of Logan, Ohio, passed away November 18, 2023, at his residence.
John was born November 6, 1955, in Nelsonville, Ohio to Carlos McGomery and Bonita R Mowery McGomery. He was a member of Turnpoint Apostolic Church; loved mowing grass; enjoyed the company of cats; enjoyed Elvis music; and enjoyed helping others.
Surviving are his wife Selena McGomery; daughters, Sara McGomery (Justin Hannon), and Misti (Jason) Gentzel; son, Michael S. Turner; grandchildren, Austin, Hannah, Aryanna, Wesley, Drake, Jamison, Derek, Savannah, Justin, and Josiah; brothers, Robert McGomery and Dave McGomery; sister, Carol Hohider; numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews; and his Kittycat, Kiki.
John was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ronald McGomery, and Joseph McGomery; and sister Emma Thress.
Funeral services were held at 12 noon Tuesday November 21, 2023, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio. Burial was in Knollwood Cemetery, Logan, Ohio.
Calling hours were observed 10 am – 12 noon on Tuesday at the funeral home.
