Joseph “Joe” Robert Thatcher, age 83, of Logan, Ohio, passed away March 23, 2022, at residence.
Joe was born December 12, 1938 in Adams County, Ohio to Truman and Leadelle Thatcher.
Surviving are his loving wife of 26 years, Kathleen Thatcher; children, Robert (Cynthia) Thatcher, Elizabeth Zbikowski, Mark Thatcher, Brian (Dawn) Thatcher, Gretchen Hornberger, and Robin Hornberger; grandchildren, Eric, Amber, Cooper (Chelsea), Grant, Cole, Lauren, Emma, Savannah, and Mackenzie; great-grandchildren, Antonio and Alex; brother-in-law, Fred Meadows; extended Thatcher family of nieces, nephews, and cousins; and his friends, hunters and horsemen.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Norma (Jim) Sweeney, Charlotte Meadows, David Thatcher, and Michael Thatcher.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, March 31, 2022, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio. Burial was in Knollwood Cemetery, Logan, Ohio.
Calling hours were observed Thursday, March 31, 2022, from 10:00 am to time of service at the funeral home.
