Ruth E. Souders, age 97, of Logan, Ohio, passed away March 18, 2022, at Hocking Valley Community Hospital, Logan, Ohio.
Ruth was born October 4, 1924, in Enterprise, Ohio to Oscar and Lillian Mae Beougher. She was a 1941 Logan High School graduate; a member of Kline Memorial United Methodist Church of Enterprise; and worked at HC Godman Shoe Factory, Ranco of Columbus, and retired from Goodyear of Logan.
Surviving are her daughters, Phyllis (Mauro) Martinez of Dallas, TX and Linda (Tim) Koelliker of Spring, TX; grandchildren, Danielle Koelliker, Heather Hiles and Heath (Sarah) Hiles; sister, Mary Ann Carpenter of Florida; and sister-in-law, Virginia Beougher.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Daniel W. Souders, who passed on July 6, 2001; brothers, Clyde, Robert, Ray and Charles Beougher; and sister, Myrtle Fetheroff.
Funeral services were held at 12:00 Noon, Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Rev. Dr. Randy Hardman officiating. Burial was in Knollwood Cemetery, Logan, Ohio.
Calling hours were observed Tuesday from 10 A.M. till time of service at the funeral home.
