Kayla JoAnn Lyons, age 29, of Nelsonville, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on May 1, 2024, at Hocking Valley Community Hospital, Logan, Ohio.
Kayla was born November 17, 1994, in Logan, Ohio. She graduated from Nelsonville-York High School; loved being a mom; and loved her flower beds and cooking.
Surviving are her husband, Michael Barrow Jr; children, Chloe Barrow, Gage Barrow, and Hudson Barrow; mother, Emily (Timothy) Hoffman of Crooksville; father, Roger (Lisa) Lyons of Nelsonville; brother, Kylen (Rachel) Lyons of Murray City; grandparents, JoAnn Thompson of Buchtel, Kay Bruce of Buchtel, and Roger Lyons Sr. of Nelsonville; step-brothers, Trenton Hoffman and Trevor Hoffman; mother-in-law, Paula (Glenn) Martin of Chauncey; father-in-law, Michael Barrow Sr. (Trish); sister-in-law, Amanda Barrow of Nelsonville; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Kayla was preceded in death by grandfathers, Larry “Fuzz” McClellan and Mike Thompson, and uncle, Dale Lyons.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 P.M., Sunday May 5, 2024, at the Warren-Brown Funeral Home, Nelsonville, Ohio with Pastor John Johnson officiating.
Calling hours were observed 2-4 & 6-8 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
