Leroy Z. Morrison, age 88, of Logan, Ohio, passed away July 1, 2023, at Embassy of Logan, Logan, Ohio.
Leroy was born July 10, 1934, in West Virginia to Arthur James Morrison and Pearl Mae Oney Morrison. He retired from Logan Clay Products in Logan; served in the US Air Force; and enjoyed hunting, fishing, collecting guns, collecting knives, and riding motorcycles in his younger days.
Surviving are his sisters, Imogene Karns of McArthur, Lulubelle Webb of Athens, Virginia Lane of West Virginia, Della Wright of Logan, and Veralou Myers of Winnsboro, Texas.
Leroy was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 40 years, Shirley Eby Morrison, who passed away August 15, 2003; son, Steven Eby; and siblings, Howard Morrison, Idamae Birtcher, Thelma Casto, Ruth Fields, and Robert Morrison.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 P.M., Friday July 7, 2023, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Donald Harris officiating. Burial was in Knollwood Cemetery, Logan, Ohio, where Military Graveside services were conducted by the Hocking County Honor Guard.
Calling hours were observed on Thursday, July 6, 2023, at 4-7 pm at the funeral home.
