Robert Dale Lawson, 34, of Logan, Ohio passed away June 28, 2018 at University Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio. Robert was born August 3, 1983 in Zanesville, Ohio to Margurita J. Lawson and David E. Lawson. He worked at Hocking Valley Industries. Surviving are mother: father; brothers David Lawson Jr, Timmy (Andrew) Lawson; sister Kimberly (Michael) Ware; special sisters Holly Arbuiso, Cecily Nelson; special brother R.J. Nelson; uncles and aunts Bryan (Deanna) Flowers Sr., Mark (Aleta) Adams, Robert (Ronda) Clay, Rick Lawson; and other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews & cousins; his HVI mothers Val Gill, Kathy King, Kathy Blair. Robert was preceded in death by his step-father, Robert “Bob” Nelson Sr.; maternal grandparents, Gatha Thompson, and Robert R. Clay Sr.; and paternal grandparents, Roy and Mary Lawson, Funeral services were held at 1:00 pm, Monday, July 2, 2018 at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Pastors Mike Thompson and Matt Malone officiating. Burial was in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, New Straitsville, Ohio. Calling hours were observed Sunday 6-8 pm and Monday 11 am-1 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
