Nellie Viola Hamilton, age 68, of Rockbridge, Ohio, passed away September 15, 2021, at her son’s residence, Lancaster, Ohio.
Nellie was born May 2, 1953, in Lancaster, Ohio. She was a member of the Rockbridge Untied Methodist Church.
Surviving are her children, Sherry Hamilton Hettinger, Teresa (Wayne) Armstong, Loretta (Edward Jeremy) Schein, and Jesse (Bobbie) Hamilton; 12 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; significant other, Les “Hatch” Forest; and sister, Barbara (Oscar) Cavins.
Nellie was preceded in death by her father, Robert Eugene Rose; mother, Christine Backus; son Jason Hamilton; and brothers, Larry Rose, Robert Fink, and Tom Fink.
Funeral services were held at 8:00 pm, Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Jack McGrady officiating.
Calling hours were observed on Tuesday, September 21, 2021, from 2:00-4:00 pm and 6:00-8:00 pm at Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home Logan, Ohio.
