Barbara J. Bolar, age 78, of Logan, Ohio, passed away January 31, 2019 at her residence, Logan, Ohio. Barbara was born September 15, 1940 in Athens County. She loved the Christmas season and spending time with her family. Surviving are her husband of 17 years Thomas J. Bolar; sons, Gary (Tammy) Dickerson and Kevin (Kristin) Dickerson; daughter Theresa (fiance Mark Blythe) Dickerson-Myers; step-children, Lisa (Lester) Tassara, Michael (Ann) Bolar, Kym Bolar, and Elizabeth (Robert) Morrison; 11 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and special friend, Dennis Daubenmire. Barbara was preceded in death by her father Robert J. Riley; mother Ola Iverrean Keeton; step-father Floyd Keeton; sister Charlotte Edwards; brothers, Charles R. Riley, Kenneth L. Riley, and Carol Riley; step-brother Floyd Keeton Jr.; and special friends, Maxine Getz and Marianne Rittgers. Funeral services were held at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Rev. Iris Conrad. Burial was in Knollwood Cemetery, Logan, Ohio. Calling hours were observed from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Monday, February 4, 2019, and from 12:00 Noon to time of service on Tuesday, February 5, 2019.
