Phillip A. Miller, age 74, of The Plains, Ohio, passed away January 29, 2019 at his residence. Phillip was born March 3, 1944 in Logan, Ohio to Thomas Edward Miller and Mary M. Sigler Miller . He was a US Army Veteran. Surviving are his wife of 32 years, Patty Miller; children, Gary (Bob) Miller, Robert (Amy) Miller, Sherri (Joey) Davis, Michael Miller, Matthew Miller, Timothy Miller, and Jennifer Miller; 14 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sister Rose Glover; brother Roger (Rosemary) Miller. Phillip was preceded in death by his mother and father; brothers, Edward Miller, Paul Miller, Bill Miller, and Bobby Miller; sisters, Lena Miller, and Anna Bush; son Jerry Miller; and granddaughter Jasmin McKelvey. A Military service was held Saturday, February 2, 2019, at 2 pm at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan. Funeral services followed the military service with Rev. Dr. Randy Hardman officiating. Calling hours were observed from 12 noon to 2 pm prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
