David Benjamin Elkins, Jr., 23, of Lancaster, Ohio passed away November 8, 2018 at his residence, Lancaster, Ohio. David was born June 23, 1995 in Galipolis, Ohio to David and Lea Elkins. He was a graduate of New Lexington High School; worked at Nelson Tree Service; was an avid hunter and fisherman; and loved his Ford’s. Surviving are his mother Lea (Jason Cordle) Elkins of Lancaster; sister Nichole (Jake) Lewis of Vinton; brother Jessup Fulford of Columbus; fiance Brittany Bevard of Amanda; and children, Rylan (Bevard) Elkins, and Everleigh Wright of Bidwell. David was preceded in death by his father David Elkins Sr.; sister Anna Elkins; brother Gregory Elkins; and uncle Daniel Elkins. Funeral services were held at 8:00 pm, Saturday, November 24, 2018 at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Pastor Don Lamb officiating. Calling hours were observed Saturday, November 24, 2018 from 5 pm to time of service. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
