Geraldine Yvonne (Bowen) Edwards went home to be with the Lord on October 24, 2018. Born on January 19, 1937, she was married 49 years to her beloved husband, Eddie Edwards. Jeri, as she was known, is preceded in death by her parents, Carol Albert Bowen and Emma Pearl (Harvey) Bowen; son, Jeffrey Weis; two daughters, Julie Ann Edwards and Debra Renee (Edwards) Farrar; and grandson, Aaron Christman. She is survived by two sisters, Loisene Elizabeth (Bowen) Hoy and Golden Dawn (Bowen) May; five children, Gregory (Nicole) Weis, Steven (Sandy Brown) Weis, Meriam (Joe) Cogan, Elizabeth (Steve) Rife, and Mark (Terrel) Edwards; 14 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. Jeri retired from the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, after 20 years; and she enjoyed gardening, reading and traveling. She will be greatly missed by many. Funeral services were held at 11:00 am, Saturday, October 27, 2018 at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan. Burial was in Fairview Memorial Gardens, Rockbridge, Ohio. Calling hours were held on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the New Straitsville Masonic Lodge #484, New Straitsville, Ohio 43766.
