Janice M. Ennis, 90, of Nelsonville, Ohio passed away September 3, 2015 at Heartland of Westerville, Ohio. Janice was born May 24, 1925 in Athens County, Ohio to Hurley and Gertrude Daisy Pidcock. She was a graduate of Waterloo High School; retired from William Brooks Shoe Factory in Nelsonville; and a member of the Nelsonville Wesleyan Church. Surviving are her sons, Michael (Marge) Ennis of Westerville and Phil (Sherry) Ennis of Reynoldsburg; grandchildren, Michele Millich, Susan Bucher, Chris Ennis, Matthew Ennis, Katie Ennis, Tony Tiberi, and Aaron Tiberi; 8 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews, including 2 special nieces, Debbie and Carol Perry. Janice was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ennis, who passed away in 1985; and siblings, Howard Pidcock, Olive Taylor, Mildred Perry, and Bill Pidcock. Funeral services were held at 11:00 am Friday September 11, 2015 at the Warren-Brown Funeral Home, Nelsonville, Ohio with Rev. Mike Thomas officiating. Burial was in Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville, Ohio. Calling hours were observed Thursday 5-7 pm at the funeral home.
